In the fourth minute, Johan Palm from IFK Värnamo received a yellow card for a tough tackle. Just sixteen minutes later, it was Vyacheslav Jevtushenko's turn to get a warning for IK Brage. However, in the twenty-first minute, Brage found success when Niklas Forslund scored to make it 1-0.

IFK Värnamo, however, would not be easily defeated, and Viktor Claesson quickly regained momentum. In the thirty-first minute, he put the ball in the net to equalize the match. But Brage did not want to leave the field without a victory, and just five minutes later, Daniel Åkervall scored to make it 2-1, assisted by Robbin Sellin.

The first half ended with a caution for Magnus Hjertén-Tappert from IK Brage. The second half did not start well for Brage either, as Viktor Claesson scored his second goal of the match, equalizing once again for Värnamo.

Adam Gradén came on for Mathias Wiklöf in the eighty-fifth minute for IK Brage. IFK Värnamo finished the match with Andreas Svensson replacing Dzenis Kozica in the eighty-sixth minute.

The match ended 2-2, and both IK Brage and IFK Värnamo left Borlänge Energi Arena with one point each. IK Brage is in ninth place in the table, while IFK Värnamo is in thirteenth.
