Assyriska FF won today’s Superettan match against Ljungskile SK in a tough and physical game at the Södertälje Football Arena. The match started at 5:00 PM on Sunday evening and attracted 2,016 spectators. Referee Niklas Abrahamsson maintained a strict line on the pitch, assisted by Gustav Axmon and Conny Hugman on the sidelines.
It was an even match from start to finish, with both teams having chances to score. In the 54th minute, Ljungskile made two substitutions: Andreas Lind came on for Robin Iglicar, and Rafael Leandro Magalhaes replaced Tobias Mikaelsson. The crowd erupted in cheers, and the players from Assyriska hugged each other after the goal.
Ljungskile fought for an equalizer, but Assyriska defended well and held off the opposition. The match ended 1-0 to Assyriska, allowing the home team to celebrate after securing three important points. It was a tight match with tough challenges and hard work from both teams. But thanks to Donoukarás’ header in the 90th minute, Assyriska FF could go home with a victory on home soil.
