It was an intense match at Borlänge Energi Arena when IK Brage hosted Assyriska FF in the Superettan. In front of a crowd of 2,127 spectators, IK Brage showed that they were not going to give up without a fight against the league leaders.

The match started evenly with both teams searching for a gap to take the lead. But it was in the 29th minute that IK Brage scored their first goal, thanks to Johan Eklund, who was assisted by Vyacheslav Jevtushenko. Assyriska FF tried to come back, but IK Brage kept them at bay and had several chances to extend their lead.

In the 61st minute, Jesper Carlsson managed to score and double IK Brage's lead, again assisted by Johan Eklund. Assyriska FF made two substitutions in an attempt to change the course of the game, but it did not help. IK Brage held firm, and Georg Makdesie, who was substituted in for Assyriska FF, had a chance to score, but his shot was saved by IK Brage's goalkeeper.

In the closing stages of the match, IK Brage scored yet another goal, this time through Johan Eklund, who was named the Player of the Match. The assist came from Jesper Medén, who had just been substituted in. The match ended 3-0 to IK Brage, which was a surprising victory against the league leaders.

IK Brage climbed up to 10th place while Assyriska FF fell to second place. Referee Dragan Banjac officiated the match alongside assistant referees Fredrik Johansson and Magnus Vallerius. Tobias Johansson, Vyacheslav Jevtushenko, Mathias Wiklöf, and Håkan Malmström each received a yellow card during the match.
