Qviding FIF won a tough away match against Assyriska FF in Superettan on Sunday evening. The match was played at Södertälje Fotbollsarena and was attended by 2,219 spectators. Qviding took the lead early in the match when Isa Bagci scored in the 21st minute after an assist from Fuad Hyseni.
Assyriska tried to find their way back into the match but struggled to create clear goal-scoring chances. Qviding was also dangerous going forward and had several good opportunities to extend their lead. One of their forwards, Fuad Hyseni, received a yellow card in the 56th minute.
Assyriska made two substitutions in the second half to try to turn the match around, but it didn't help. Instead, it was Qviding who made a substitution that paid off when Peter Stenberg came on for Hyseni in the 69th minute.
Assyriska continued to press for an equalizer and made another substitution in the 77th minute when Fredrik Samuelsson replaced Jones Kusi-Asare. However, it was Qviding who came closest to scoring more goals, and in the 82nd minute, Mohammed Omeirat came on for the goal scorer Bagci.
Assyriska's pressure paid off late in the match when Samuelsson received a yellow card in the 84th minute, but they could not catch up to Qviding, who won the match 1-0. Niklas Abrahamsson was the match referee and was assisted by Magnus Moberg and Andreas Grönman.
