GIF Sundsvall takes a convincing victory against Landskrona BoIS at home at Idrottsparken in Monday night's Superettan match. In front of a crowd of 4545, the home team took the lead just before the break, when Christian Brink scored 1-0 on an assist from Fredrik Holster.

Early in the second half it looked like Landskrona would be able to catch up, but their attack was parried by the GIF defense. Instead, the next goal came from Sundsvall when Brink again put the ball in the net. This time without an assist. Landskrona fought to get a reduction but without result.

The match was quite tough with several warnings. Thomas Raun from Landskrona and Fredric Dammert Jonsson from GIF Sundsvall both received a yellow card before halftime. David Myrestam from GIF Sundsvall also got a warning later in the match, just like Mikael Bengtsson from Landskrona.

GIF Sundsvall's victory means that they are now in third place in the table, while Landskrona BoIS continues to struggle in the lower half of the table in fourteenth. The refereeing trio of Kristoffer Karlsson, Patrik Klintberg and Mahbod Beigi kept a good control of the match.
