Landskrona BoIS put on an impressive performance when they visited a packed Ängelholm IP on Friday evening. Although Ängelholms FF had high expectations to lead the match, Landskrona started strongly and took the lead just 12 minutes in with a headed goal from Fredrik Olsson, assisted by Patrik Åström. After this, Landskrona continued to dominate, and it didn't take long before Olsson scored his second goal of the evening, again assisted by Åström.
At halftime, the home team made a substitution, bringing in Jonas Lindh for David Bennhage. However, even with this change, Ängelholm struggled to create enough dangerous scoring chances, and Landskrona maintained control of the match. After 59 minutes, the home team managed to reduce the deficit with a nice deflection into the goal by Martin Andersen, assisted by Jonas Lindh. But that was not enough for Ängelholm, who continued to chase an equalizer.
Landskrona fought hard to maintain their lead, and after 80 minutes, Ängelholm made a substitution, with Lester Dewee replacing Jörgen Nilsson. Landskrona responded with two substitutions: Alexander Zaim came on for Fredrik Olsson, and Linus Olsson replaced Patrik Åström. Even here, Landskrona continued to control the match, and Ängelholm’s goal would be the last of the game. In the end, Landskrona BoIS won the match with a score of 1-2 and could head home with a long-awaited victory.
