In the second half, Degerfors took control of the game, and Martin Broberg gave the away team a 2-3 lead in the 56th minute. Two minutes later, Broberg received a yellow card, but this did not deter Degerfors, who continued to dominate the match.

Västerås struggled to equalize once more, but in the 78th minute, Samuelsson scored his second goal of the evening, this time assisted by Tobias Solberg, giving Degerfors a two-goal lead. Västerås desperately attempted to reduce the deficit, but Degerfors' defense held firm, and the match ended 3-5.
