GIF Sundsvall dominated the match from the start, and it didn't take long for them to take the lead. In the 21st minute, Pontus Engblom placed the ball in the net, assisted by Emil Forsberg. Engblom wasn't finished there; two minutes later, Forsberg unleashed a shot that hit the post, but the ball bounced back onto the field and landed at Forsberg's feet, allowing him to easily make it 2-0.
IK Brage desperately tried to get back into the game, but they struggled to create dangerous opportunities. Instead, GIF Sundsvall sealed the deal and struck with three more goals. In the 60th minute, Engblom scored his second goal of the night, giving Sundsvall a comfortable 3-0 lead.

IK Brage had a rough evening and desperately tried to score a consolation goal but were unsuccessful. Instead, Johan Persson received a yellow card in the 88th minute, and Sundsvall finished the match with a comfortable 5-0 victory.
With this result, GIF Sundsvall solidified their position in third place in the standings, while IK Brage remained in 14th place. The crowd at Idrottsparken witnessed a dominant GIF Sundsvall that never gave Brage a chance to get into the match.
