It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Stora Valla when Degerfors IF faced Falkenbergs FF in Superettan. In front of an audience of 2,754, Degerfors was the favorite beforehand; the team was in fourth place while Falkenberg was in ninth place.

The referee Martin Ingvarsson, along with his assistant referees Andreas Björkman and Tobias Langkow, officiated a good and fair match, and Falkenberg definitely played like winners.
