On Sunday afternoon, Ljungskile SK faced IK Brage at Skarsjövallen in an exciting match in Superettan. The 1,179 spectators, including referee Kristoffer Karlsson and his assistants Fredrik Klyver and Anders Böwing, witnessed a match with a high tempo and several eventful moments.

But Ljungskile would not give up and equalized in the 84th minute when Joakim Runnemo found the net with an assist from Erik Nilsson.
The match appeared to be headed for a draw, but in the 90th minute, IK Brage managed to take the lead again when Jesper Carlsson scored to make it 1-2, securing three points for the visitors. Ljungskile desperately tried to equalize again, but it was too late. Instead, Ljungskile's Marcus Daniel Jarlegren received his second yellow card and was cautioned in the closing minutes.
The final result was thus 1-2 in favor of IK Brage, who could head home with three important points in their pocket. Ljungskile will continue to fight in Superettan and will aim for revenge next time.
