Jönköpings Södra IF secured a well-deserved victory away from home as they faced Degerfors IF at Stora Valla in the Superettan. The match began with a high tempo, and it was the visitors who took the lead in the 22nd minute when Branimir Hrgota found the back of the net. Just ten minutes later, Andreas Tegström stepped up to double Jönköping's lead, while the home side struggled to create any opportunities.

In the second half, Degerfors attempted to apply pressure but found it difficult to create any real chances. Instead, Jönköping increased their lead in the 85th minute when Hrgota scored his second goal of the day. Toward the end of the match, Degerfors managed to pull one back when Alexander Andersson was able to tap in a ball with the help of his teammate Daniel Sundgren.

Jönköpings Södra dominated large parts of the match and achieved a much-needed victory that improves their position in the Superettan table. Degerfors IF had a tough day at the office but can take some joy from having managed to score a goal at the end of the match. The match ended with a 1-3 victory for visiting Jönköpings Södra IF.
