Assyriska FF achieved a well-deserved victory at home against IFK Värnamo at the Södertälje Football Arena. The match started evenly with chances on both sides, but it was Assyriska who took the lead after 38 minutes through Fuad Hyseni, who received a pass from Stefan Batan. Before the halftime break, Admir Catovic extended the lead to 2-0 following a nice pass from Jimmie Augustsson.

IFK Värnamo substituted in Carlos Gaete Moggia at halftime in an attempt to turn the match around, but it did not help. Instead, Assyriska created several dangerous attacks and brought on Haris Laitinen Donoukarás and Göran Marklund. In the 83rd minute, Hyseni scored his second goal of the match after Nahir Besara set him up perfectly.

IFK Värnamo fought on but could not find a way to reduce the deficit. Instead, Carlos Gaete Moggia received a yellow card in the 90th minute. The match ended 3-0 in favor of Assyriska FF, who were thus able to celebrate their second win of the season. The attendance of 2014 also indicated that it was an entertaining football match to watch.

Mohammed Al-Hakim was the referee, assisted by Mahbod Beigi and Niklas Alfredsson as assistant referees.
