Landskrona BoIS took an important victory at home at Landskrona IP when they faced Varbergs BoIS FC on Monday evening. The match was even, but Landskrona had a better first half.

Already after eight minutes, Landskrona took the lead through Patrik Åström, who scored following an assist from Max Mölder. Varberg fought hard and tried to find a goal, but it was Landskrona that increased their lead just four minutes into the second half. Fredrik Olsson scored to make it 2-0 after a pass from Patrik Åström.

Varberg made two substitutions in an attempt to change the course of the match. Landskrona also responded with substitutions, but the game became slower, and more yellow cards were issued by the referee. Karl Söderström received his second yellow card and was sent off for Varberg. However, this did not stop the team from continuing to fight and scoring a late goal in the match. Joakim Sjöhage reduced the score to 2-1 after an assist from Jonas Lindberg.
