IFK Värnamo continued to fight, and Abdul Rahman Khalili received a yellow card in the 87th minute. In the end, the match finished in a draw, 1-1.
The match featured many tough situations, and both teams had chances to score more goals. Referee Mattias Nyman did a good job keeping the match under control. This was a match that demonstrated that the teams are evenly matched and will provide exciting games throughout the season in Superettan.
