Match in Superettan 2012
Match start: 2012-06-09 at 16:00
Venue: Stora Valla
Attendance: 5,603

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, 5,603 happy soccer fans gathered at Stora Valla to watch Degerfors IF face Hammarby in Superettan. Referee Antti Kanerva and his assistant referees Daniel Ekman and Joakim Amri Nilsson were ready to maintain order on the field.

The match started intensely, and already in the 22nd minute, Hammarby's Erik Figueroa received a warning. However, despite this, Hammarby managed to take the lead with a goal from Sinan Ayranci in the 31st minute, assisted by Figueroa. Hammarby's joy was quickly dampened as team captain Ayranci himself received a warning just two minutes later.

Warnings were issued at a rapid pace, with Jonas Olsson from Degerfors IF and Monday James, as well as later Christophe Lallet from Hammarby, all receiving cautions. But Degerfors IF did not give up and managed to equalize to 1-1 in the 45th minute through Amadaiya Rennie, assisted by Erik Nilsson.

The second half began with even more cautions, including another for James, who received his second warning and had to leave the field. Hammarby substituted Max Forsberg for William Schuler in the 66th minute, which proved to be a smart move as Forsberg scored for Degerfors IF in the 70th minute.

Degerfors IF desperately tried to equalize again, but Hammarby was too strong. In the 90th minute, Christophe Lallet sealed the deal for Hammarby by scoring the third and final goal, resulting in a final score of 1-3.

It was a well-played match between two battling teams, but it was Hammarby who came out on top with their strong lineup and skilled goal scorers. Hammarby celebrated their victory, while Degerfors IF will come back stronger next time.
