IK Brage won a very important match in Superettan against Trelleborgs FF with a score of 3-1, in front of 1771 fans at Borlänge Energi Arena on Monday evening. The match was officiated by Ransin Djurhuus, assisted by Laurits í Króki and Fredrik Johansson.

IK Brage took the lead just 20 minutes into the game when a Trelleborg defender scored an own goal. Robbin Sellin doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 29th minute, receiving a precise pass from Mats Moldskred. Vyacheslav Jevtushenko received a yellow card for IK Brage in the 52nd minute, while Trelleborg tried to reduce the deficit through Kristian Haynes, who was substituted onto the field in the 61st minute for Sebastian Carlsen.

Trelleborgs FF attempted to come back and cut the deficit through substitutions, but IK Brage’s defense was too strong, and no one managed to score. Carl Björk was substituted in for Peter Stenberg in the 74th minute for IK Brage, while Viktor Svensson replaced Jonathan Asp for Trelleborgs.

Zoran Jovanovic received a yellow card in the 88th minute, and IK Brage extended their lead further when Mats Moldskred scored in the 89th minute, assisted by Dragan Kapcevic. Trelleborg managed to score a goal at full time when Kristian Haynes netted the ball assisted by Dennis Melander in the final minute of the match. However, it was too little, too late for Trelleborg, as the match ended 3-1 in favor of IK Brage.

After the match, IK Brage is in eighth place in the standings, while Trelleborgs FF is in fourteenth place. This was an important win for IK Brage, improving their standing in Superettan.
