It was an intense and entertaining match at Stora Valla as Degerfors IF faced Falkenbergs FF in the Superettan. Falkenbergs FF quickly showed their intent to take home three points as Victor Sköld scored the opening goal just 12 minutes into the match, assisted by Christoffer Carlsson. And just four minutes later, Sköld extended the lead to 0-2.

Falkenbergs FF had a firm grip on the match and created several dangerous opportunities. Danny Ervik received a yellow card after 38 minutes, which was not surprising given the tough nature of the match.

Degerfors IF began to fight back and managed to reduce the deficit right before halftime. Peter Samuelsson scored the goal, assisted by Christoffer Eriksson. Degerfors IF continued to battle hard, and after 62 minutes, the match was completely level again when Samuelsson scored his second goal of the evening, assisted by Tobias Solberg.

Falkenbergs FF responded with three substitutions, bringing Johan Svahn, Stefan Rodevåg, and Robin Ganemyr onto the field. Degerfors IF countered with two substitutions, as Amadaiya Rennie replaced Erik Nilsson and Alexander Andersson swapped places with Samuelsson.

However, despite Degerfors IF's efforts to win the match, it was Falkenbergs FF who managed to score the decisive goal. Victor Sköld completed his hat trick after 85 minutes, assisted by David Svensson.

The match concluded with a yellow card to Andreas Holmberg and a substitution for Gheorge Andronic, but it was not enough for Degerfors IF to turn the match around. Falkenbergs FF won 3-2 and took home three important points in the standings. Degerfors IF remains in 12th place, while Falkenbergs FF climbs to 9th place.
