On Monday evening, it was time for a match between Trelleborgs FF and Halmstads BK at Vångavallen. In front of an audience of 1,048 people, with Kristoffer Karlsson as the referee and Peter Arnesson and Jonas Andersson as assistant referees, it turned out to be an exciting match between two teams fighting for important points in Superettan.

The match began calmly, with both teams trying to find their rhythm. Several dangerous opportunities were created, but it was not until the 39th minute that the first warning was issued, to Trelleborg's Yousef Fakhro. Trelleborg fought to get back into the game, and in the 75th minute, Halmstad made their first substitution as Viktor Ljung replaced Johan Blomberg. Trelleborg would also receive their second warning through Magnus Andersson in the 78th minute, but it did not seem to hinder the team's attempts to find a goal.

Matt Hiltunen replaced Fredrik Jensen in Trelleborg's second substitution in the 80th minute, while Halmstad made their second substitution with Peter Nyström replacing goalscorer Gudjón Baldvinsson in the 82nd minute.

But just two minutes later, Trelleborg would score their first goal through Andréas Grahm, which made the crowd at Vångavallen raise their volume. Tobias Lewicki replaced Zoran Jovanovic in Trelleborg's third substitution in the 85th minute, while Halmstad also made their final substitution when Kristoffer Thydell replaced Kristinn Steindórsson in the 90th minute.

Trelleborg continued to press for an equalizer, but no more goals were scored by either team. The match ended 1-2 to Halmstad, who could take away crucial three points. After the match, Trelleborgs FF sits in 14th place in the table, while Halmstads BK is in third place.
