It was an exciting match between Ängelholms FF and Jönköpings Södra IF at Ängelholms IP. The home team took the lead just three minutes in, with Monday Samuel scoring, assisted by Omid Nazari. However, Jönköping equalized in the 27th minute when Pär Cederquist found the net after a nice pass from Dustin Corea.
The match continued with tough play from both sides, resulting in several cautions. Ängelholm received two yellow cards, the first to Monday Samuel and the second to Robin Simovic. Fredric Fendrich from Jönköping also received a yellow card.
Just before halftime, Jönköping launched a fantastic attack, which Daryl Smylie finished off with a goal, giving the away team the lead.
The second half started with a tremendous push from Ängelholm. They responded with an equalizer in the 51st minute by Michael Mocevic Baggner, assisted by Monday Samuel. Ängelholm's pressure continued, but in the 66th minute, Robin Simovic received his second yellow card and was sent off. This forced the coach to make a quick change, substituting Robin Staaf for Michael Mocevic Baggner.
Jönköping also made changes, with Jonathan Drott replacing Dustin Corea and Johan Bertilsson coming on for Andreas Tegström.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw after several dangerous attacks from both teams. Ängelholm's Jonas Nilsson received a yellow card in the 88th minute, just before the final whistle. Despite being a man down, both teams left the pitch with one point each.
