On Monday evening, Östers IF faced Umeå FC at Visma Arena in Växjö in front of an audience of 3,852 people. Referee Dragan Banjac, along with his assistants Fredrik Klyver and Anders Böwing, officiated the match. It started with a bang, as Östers' Freddy Söderberg scored a leading goal just eight minutes into the game, assisted by Andreas Wihlborg.
