IFK Värnamo dominated from start to finish in Sunday's match against Umeå FC at Finnvedsvallen in front of a crowd of 1,532 spectators. Already after 24 minutes, the home team took the lead through a neat touch from Freddy Winsth, following a great pass from Abdul Rahman Khalili.
In the second half, IFK Värnamo continued to showcase their dominance. Dzenis Kozica extended the lead to 2-0 after a nice assist from Khalili, before Vladica Zlojutro two minutes later increased the margin to 3-0 following a good pass from Erik Ferman.
After two quick goals, both teams made substitutions. Simon Mårtensson came on for Umeå FC while Mohammed Abdulrahman was introduced for IFK Värnamo. Marko Mihajlovic received a yellow card for Umeå FC while Elmin Kurbegovic was cautioned for IFK Värnamo.
Abdul Rahman Khalili continued to display his excellent form and scored another goal in the 66th minute, assisted beautifully by Joel Löw. Minutes later, Vladica Zlojutro increased the lead to 5-0, following another great assist from Behar Ferizi.
The final substitutions were made thereafter in the match, with Sebastian Göransson coming on for IFK Värnamo and Timothy McNeil and Joel Burström being substituted in for Umeå FC. Before the final whistle blew, Dan Danneman also made his debut for IFK Värnamo, who won the match convincingly with a score of 5-0.
