Jönköpings Södra IF achieved an impressive 3-0 away victory against GIF Sundsvall in the Superettan on Sunday afternoon. The match was played at Idrottsparken in front of 1,578 spectators and was officiated by Lars Olsson with assistance from Conny Hugman and Fuad Ganibegovic.

J-Södra received an early warning in the 23rd minute when Robert Gojani was given a tough tackle. However, just a few minutes later, André Calisir put the visitors in the lead. Calisir rose highest at a corner and smartly headed in to make it 0-1 for Sundsvall. The assist came from Tommy Thelin.

Sundsvall attempted to get back into the match, but it proved difficult against a strong defending J-Södra. Instead, Thelin himself scored on a nice counter-attack after 55 minutes, bringing the score to 0-2 for the away team.

Robert Gojani would then make his presence known again just before the 70-minute mark. Gojani found the net with a fine pass from Daryl Smylie, giving Jönköping a 0-3 lead.

Sundsvall desperately tried to chase a consolation goal but had to settle for two yellow cards for Eric Larsson and Pa Amat Dibba before the referee blew the whistle to end the match. Meanwhile, J-Södra secured three important points in the battle for promotion to the Allsvenskan.
