It was an intense match between Assyriska FF and IFK Värnamo at Södertälje Fotbollsarena in front of just over 2000 spectators. The home team took an early lead in the eighteenth minute through Admir Aganovic, who received a nice assist from Christer Youssef and put it in the net. IFK Värnamo tried to keep pace with Assyriska FF, but they didn't quite hold up in their defensive play.
In the 33rd minute, Freddy Winsth received a warning for IFK Värnamo, and at halftime, they substituted Ahmed Awad for Abdul Rahman Khalili in an effort to change the course of the match. However, Khalili also received a warning in the 61st minute, and in the 65th minute, Sebastian Göransson was substituted for Alexander Vrebac.
Assyriska FF dominated significantly and pressed to increase their lead. Stefan Batan received a warning in the 65th minute, and the home team also made two substitutions in the 68th and 69th minutes, with Amin Nazari and Paul Ikechukwu Obiefule coming on for Christer Youssef and Gabriel Awrohum.
David Durmaz also received a warning in the 74th minute, but that did not stop Assyriska FF from continuing to put pressure on IFK Värnamo. Jonas Hellgren was substituted for Admir Catovic in the 77th minute, and in the 81st minute, IFK Värnamo substituted Freddy Winsth for Erik Ferman, who also received a warning.
IFK Värnamo desperately tried to score to reduce the deficit, but it was Assyriska FF who managed to score two more goals before the final whistle. Christopher Brandeborn scored the second goal in the 87th minute after an assist from Sotirios Papagiannopoulos, and Admir Aganovic then sealed the match with his second goal of the evening in the 90th minute, after an assist from David Durmaz.
The final score was a clear 3-0 victory for Assyriska FF, who deserved to take all three points after a solid performance in both defense and attack. Referee Robert Daradic had a good match and kept the game in check efficiently, while Albert Andersson and Patrik Klintberg did a great job as assistant referees.
