Östersunds FK showed a dominant performance when they faced Jönköping Södra IF at Jämtkraft Arena. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and 4123 spectators watched as the home team put on an impressive performance.
The match started relatively evenly but it was Östersunds FK who took the lead in the 36th minute after a nice assist by Rasmus Lindkvist. The goal scorer was Thomas Boakye, who neatly took down the ball and spot-kicked it into the net.

It was a tough second half for the away team, who received several warnings and finally also an expulsion. Joakim Karlsson received two yellow cards within a few minutes, which led to Jönköping's Södra IF being reduced to ten men on the field.
Östersunds FK continued to show their fine play and in the 84th minute Jamie Ryan Hopcutt scored his second goal of the match after a fine assist by Seon Min Moon. Thomas Boakye completed his hat trick in the 89th minute after a nice pass by Lindkvist.
The match ended 5-0 to Östersunds FK and they kept their fourth place in the Superettan table. An impressive performance by the home team and a match that definitely impressed the crowd at Jämtkraft Arena.
