IFK Värnamo secured a hard-fought victory against IK Brage at home on Monday evening. The match attracted an audience of over 1,000 spectators at Finnvedsvallen. IFK Värnamo started strong in the 14th minute when Martin Claesson scored the opening goal with an assist from Pär Cederquist. IK Brage responded quickly two minutes later and equalized. Mats Moldskred put the ball in the net from a pass by Dragan Kapcevic.

Both teams made several substitutions and gave their all on the pitch. IFK Värnamo netted the winning goal in the 87th minute when Durim Berisha found the net after a pass from Sebastian Göransson, thus securing a very important 2-1 victory. Even though both teams fought hard, it was IFK Värnamo that came away with the win and continued their climb up the league table.
