It was a lovely Sunday evening with shining sun and a full Idrottsparken as GIF Sundsvall hosted Hammarby in the Superettan.

GIF Sundsvall started strong in the match and took the lead in the third minute through Adam Chennoufi, assisted by Kevin Walker. It was a well-deserved goal after an intense period of attacks from the home team.

Hammarby tried to respond to Sundsvall's opening goal, but GIF Sundsvall's defense stood firm and made it difficult for the away team to create any significant opportunities. After an intense start to the match, the first warning came in the fourteenth minute when Thomas Guldborg Christensen from Hammarby received a yellow card.
