It was an exciting match between Hammarby and Varbergs BoIS FC that took place at Söderstadion on Monday evening. In front of 8,218 spectators, the match kicked off, and just five minutes in, Varbergs BoIS FC's Gabriel Altemark Vanneryr received a yellow card. Hammarby responded with two yellow cards for Monday James after 9 and 16 minutes. Unfortunately, James was quickly sent off after the second yellow card, putting Hammarby in a difficult situation.

Varberg brought on Ardian Rexhepi, which proved to be a brilliant move as he scored their first goal in the 64th minute, assisted by Joakim Sjöhage. Just three minutes later, in the 67th minute, Erkan Saglik scored for Varberg with an assist from Pierre Tillman, equalizing to 2-2.

The match became more intense, and Varbergs BoIS FC's Ahmet Özdemirok was sent off in the 82nd minute. After that, there were new substitutions and another yellow card for Ardian Rexhepi. After 90 minutes, the match ended 2-2, much to the delight of the crowd. The referee was Magnus Ahlsén, assisted by Mark Josef and Patrik Klintberg.
