The clock ticked past 15:45 on Sunday afternoon, and it was time for a Superettan match between GAIS and Landskrona BoIS at Gamla Ullevi. The match attracted an audience of 1,894 people who had their eyes fixed on referee Jim Petersson and his assistant officiating duo Andreas Grönman and Andreas Söderkvist.

Already after eleven minutes, the referee showed a yellow card to Landskrona BoIS player Linus Malmqvist following a tough tackle. A couple of minutes later, GAIS made their first substitution as Linus Tornblad came on for Mohammed Abdulrahman.

The match continued, and in the 90th minute, GAIS made their last substitution when Adnan Maric came on for Richard Spong. Landskrona BoIS received a warning in the closing minutes as Christoffer Tapper Holter picked up a yellow card.
