However, IFK Värnamo refused to give up, and Elmin Kurbegovic equalized just before halftime, with an assist from Johan Niklasson.
In the second half, several substitutions were made on both sides, and it was IFK Värnamo who fared best. In the 80th minute, Alexander Vrebac scored the winning goal, assisted by David Björkeryd. Despite attempts from Ängelholms FF to come back, they were unable to do so, and the match ended 1-2 in favor of IFK Värnamo.
A tough match with several cautions and goals, where IFK Värnamo emerged as the winners and took three points home. However, Ängelholms FF showed great fighting spirit and will certainly continue to fight in Superettan.
