Assyriska FF crushed GIF Sundsvall away with a score of 4-2 in an intense match at Idrottsparken. Admir Aganovic opened the scoring for the visitors after just ten minutes, and only four minutes later, Christer Youssef doubled the lead following a nice pass from Aganovic.

Amin Nazari then made it 3-0 after twenty minutes, and it seemed the match was already settled before halftime. However, GIF Sundsvall continued to fight and got a restart when Kevin Walker reduced the deficit to 1-3 just before halftime.

The second half began with Sundsvall's intense chase for more goals, but Assyriska's defense held strong until Jonas Hellgren scored to make it 4-1 in the 75th minute. In the 86th minute, Sundsvall's coach brought in substitute Pa Amat Dibba, who netted a consolation goal, assisted by Adam Chennoufi.

Assyriska FF then stuck to their strategy and won the match comfortably, despite receiving two yellow cards and making one substitution. GIF Sundsvall really tried to mount a comeback, but they were unable to overcome the strong offensive play of Assyriska FF. Antti Kanerva was the referee, along with Patrik Klintberg and Conny Hugman as assistant referees, and an audience of 3,214 watched the match live.
