Assyriska FF dominated Varbergs BoIS FC in a superior match at Södertälje Fotbollsarena. The match started unexpectedly with an own goal from Varberg, where a failed clearance led to a 1-0 lead for the home team just 10 minutes in.
After the first goal, Varberg tried to get back into the game, but Assyriska held strong and pushed for a second goal. In the 29th minute, Assyriska made their first substitution, bringing on Paul Ikechukwu Obiefule, who immediately gave his team an extra push.
