It was an exciting match at Borlänge Energi Arena when IK Brage hosted GIF Sundsvall in the Superettan on Sunday afternoon. With 1,591 spectators in attendance, the fans saw the guests open the scoring just six minutes into the game when Ari Freyr Skúlason made it 0-1 for Sundsvall.
IK Brage fought hard to equalize, but it was Skúlason who once again showed his scoring ability when he made it 0-2 for Sundsvall in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, IK Brage was not at their best that day, and Sundsvall continued to maintain control of the match.
In the second half, Adam Chennoufi and Dennis Olsson received yellow cards for Sundsvall, and Njogu Demba replaced Martin Rosell for IK Brage in the 67th minute. Demba really tried to inject energy into the home team, and by the 75th minute, IK Brage got their reward. Dragan Kapcevic scored a goal, reducing the deficit to 1-2. Peter Stenberg provided the assist.
Sundsvall made two substitutions later in the match when Nicklas Maripuu and Pa Amat Dibba replaced Adam Chennoufi and Daniel Sliper. Despite their efforts, IK Brage could not come any closer, and the match ended 1-2 in favor of the guests from Sundsvall.
