The hot summer day in Gothenburg featured an exciting match between GAIS and GIF Sundsvall at Gamla Ullevi. The attendance was 4,017 people, who witnessed a match where both teams fought hard for victory.

In the second minute, GIF Sundsvall's Robert Lundström received a yellow card, but that did not stop GAIS from opening the scoring in the ninth minute. GIF Sundsvall made two substitutions in the 69th and 77th minutes and continued to press forward. Björn Andersson received a yellow card in the 72nd minute, but GAIS held firm until they replaced both Hampus Andersson and Kenneth Gustafsson in the 79th and 83rd minutes.

GIF Sundsvall did not give up and managed to reduce the score once more in the 88th minute through Ari Freyr Skúlason. With just minutes remaining in the match, and a passionate crowd in attendance, GIF Sundsvall was able to find the back of the net again. Johan Eklund equalized to 3-3 in the 90th minute, after an assist from Kevin Walker.

GAIS made a final substitution in the 90th minute, with Marcus Översjö coming on for Patrik Wallin. However, Översjö would also receive a yellow card just before the referee blew the final whistle. The final score was 3-3 in a match where both teams gave it their all. Referee Lars Olsson and his assistant referees Fredrik Klyver and Magnus Vallerius did an excellent job officiating a match that was full of excitement and drama.
