Falkenbergs FF started strong and quickly took the lead in the match against IFK Värnamo on Sunday. After just ten minutes, it was 1-0 to the home team when Victor Sköld found the net, assisted by Per Frick. Five minutes later, Sköld doubled his and Falkenberg's lead to 2-0, this time with an assist from Johan Svahn.

IFK Värnamo fought to get back into the game and made a substitution just before halftime, bringing in Alexander Vrebac for Ahmed Awad. Despite this, the away team could not find a way to reduce the deficit, and Falkenberg maintained their two-goal lead until the break.

IFK Värnamo made more substitutions in the second half, including Pär Cederquist coming on for Phathizwe Sacolo after 58 minutes. But it was Falkenberg who continued to dominate both possession and scoring chances. In the 77th minute, Carl Wede scored Falkenberg's third goal, assisted by Niclas Eliasson, who had just come on as a substitute. Falkenberg made another substitution when Dan Keat replaced David Svensson in the 81st minute, and Keat's first action on the field was to score Falkenberg's fourth goal with four minutes remaining in the match. He was assisted by Wede, who had also scored earlier in the game.

The match ended 4-0 to Falkenbergs FF, in front of an audience of 1331 at Falkenbergs IP A. The referee for the match was Antti Kanerva, assisted by Joakim Amri Nilsson and Henrik Svensson.
