At a packed Falkenbergs IP A, Falkenbergs FF faced Assyriska FF in an exciting match in Superettan. After a balanced start to the match, it was Falkenberg who took the lead in the ninth minute with Per Karlsson scoring after a nice pass from a teammate.

Assyriska made a substitution in the 80th minute in an attempt to equalize, but it was instead Falkenberg who extended their lead in the 50th minute. Per Frick found the net following a great assist from Niclas Eliasson.

Assyriska tried to create scoring opportunities, but Falkenberg's defense held strong and remained solid. In the 80th minute, both teams made substitutions; Assyriska brought off Filip Korkes and Christer Youssef to introduce Philip Hellqvist and Aydin Ünsal, while Falkenberg replaced Niclas Eliasson and Victor Sköld with Matteo Blomqvist Rydén and Johannes Vall.

Assyriska received a warning in the 69th minute when Jonas Hellgren received a yellow card. Levon Pachajyan also received a yellow card for Assyriska in the 19th minute.
