Örebro took the lead in the first half after 30 minutes of play. Magnus Wikström struck the ball into the net following a fine pass from Peter Samuelsson. Örebro had several chances to extend their lead but failed repeatedly. Instead, it was IK Brage who managed to equalize the match after 33 minutes. Marko Mihajlovic shot the ball into the goal after a nice pass from another player. The second half continued in the same manner with several opportunities for both teams, but neither side was able to secure a win. IK Brage received a warning after a free kick that led to a dangerous situation for Örebro. Örebro made several substitutions during the match in an attempt to improve their chances of taking the lead again, but to no avail.
