It was an intense, at times tough, and high-scoring match when GAIS faced Falkenbergs FF at Gamla Ullevi on Wednesday evening in Superettan. The attendance was on the lower side with 3,145 spectators. Referee Dragan Banjac was assisted by linesmen Anders Böwing and Andreas Grönman.

Falkenbergs FF, who led the table before the match, started strong, and Anton Wede received a warning after 44 minutes. In the closing stages of the match, David Svensson and Danny Ervik also received warnings for the visitors.

In the end, Fredrik Jonsson scored the goal that secured victory for the home team with a score of 3-1 in the sixth minute of stoppage time after an assist from Hampus Andersson.
