Södertälje Football Arena was packed with 1,724 spectators when Syrianska FC faced Östersunds FK in an exciting Superettan match on Friday evening. The home team was in 12th place in the standings, while the visitors were at the bottom. But it was Syrianska who showed their strength from the very first minute.

In the ninth minute, the home team took the lead with a penalty goal from Nikola Grubjesic, which got the crowd on their feet. Östersund's Stefan Ilic received a warning shortly after the goal. Syrianska continued to dominate the match, and in the 22nd minute, Saman Ghoddos scored another goal, making it 2-0 for the home team.
