Syrianska FC started strong and took the lead in the 15th minute after a goal by Charbel Georges, assisted by Saman Ghoddos. However, Hammarby quickly responded, with Lars Mendonca Fuhre equalizing to 1-1 in the 35th minute.

Hammarby's substitutions paid off as Pablo Piñones-Arce scored his second and Hammarby's third goal of the match in the 75th minute. Syrianska made a final attempt to change the match by substituting Charbel Georges for Charbel Mirza in the 75th minute and Yussuf Saleh for Robert Massi in the 70th minute.
After an intense match, Hammarby ultimately held on, and Kennedy Bakircioglu scored Hammarby's fourth and final goal in the 94th minute after an assist by Jan Gunnar Solli. The match ended 4-2 in favor of Hammarby, who thus secured an important away victory in the Superettan series.
