It was an eventful match at Påskbergsvallen between Varbergs BoIS FC and Östers IF in the Superettan. Just 16 minutes into the game, Östers IF took the lead with a goal from Marcus Bergholtz, assisted by Freddy Söderberg.

The second half started poorly for Varberg when Denis Velic scored Östers' second goal just seven minutes into the half, assisted by Marcus Bergholtz again. However, Varberg did not give up and made two quick substitutions with Fredrik Björk and Ardian Rexhepi.
