Östersunds FK secured an important victory against GIF Sundsvall in a well-played match at Jämtkraft Arena. Modou Barrow opened the scoring after a nice pass from Alex Dyer in the 26th minute. However, GIF Sundsvall equalized just six minutes later through Robert Lundström, who received a fine pass from Adam Chennoufi and easily put the ball into the net.

But Östersunds FK managed to regain the lead when Jamie Ryan Hopcutt scored after another great pass from Modou Barrow in the 35th minute. Early in the second half, Seon Min Moon extended Östersund's lead when he headed in a fine pass from Modou Barrow again in the 60th minute.

GIF Sundsvall tried to find their way back into the match, but Östersunds FK held firm and took an important victory. A strong performance from Barrow earned him the title of man of the match. Yellow cards were issued on both sides during the match, and both teams made substitutions in the second half.

Östersunds FK is now climbing to seventh place in the table, while GIF Sundsvall drops in the title race and remains in second place. The match was witnessed by 3,874 spectators and was officiated by Antti Kanerva, with Julia Magnusson Sandkvist and Andreas Björkman assisting on the sidelines.
