GAIS took the lead in the seventh minute of the match after a goal from Petrit Zhubi, assisted by Gabriel Altemark Vanneryr. IFK Värnamo quickly responded with a goal from Pär Cederquist in the nineteenth minute, assisted by Martin Claesson. Just eight minutes later, IFK Värnamo took the lead through Oscar Johansson Schellhas, assisted by Joel Löw.
