On Sunday evening, an exciting match took place between Assyriska FF and IFK Värnamo at the Södertälje Football Arena. An arena that was cooled by 1,252 football-loving fans who were there to enjoy well-played football.

The match started evenly, with both teams showing a desire to take the initiative. However, it was IFK Värnamo who took the lead in the fifteenth minute with a header goal from Benjamin Annan Fadi, assisted by Freddy Winsth. The home team Assyriska FF fought to equalize, which they managed to do five minutes before the end of the first half when Mattias Genc pushed the ball into the net, assisted by Christoffer Eriksson.

The match continued to be exciting and intense, but it was in the second half that the game took an unexpected turn. After an own goal situation by Assyriska FF, IFK Värnamo scored their second goal and took the lead in the 90+2 minute. Assyriska FF desperately tried to get back into the match, but the real setback came when David Durmaz received his second yellow card and was sent off in the 56th minute.

IFK Värnamo was ultimately able to maintain their lead and secure the victory with a score of 2-1, despite also receiving a red card when Martin Claesson was sent off in the 66th minute. An exciting match with high intensity that attracted many fans on Sunday evening. Referee Lars Olsson kept order in the match, assisted by Andreas Björkman and Gustav Axmon.
