GAIS displayed their class and turned the match around after falling behind 0-1 following a penalty goal by Landskrona BoIS’ Andreas Dahl in the 34th minute at Gamla Ullevi on Saturday afternoon.

But GAIS would not give up so easily. Just three minutes later, Gabriel Altemark Vanneryr equalized after a nice assist from Joel Anell, making it 1-1. The halftime score was therefore tied.

In the second half, GAIS continued to demonstrate strong play, which paid off in the 66th minute. Kieron Cadogan scored to make it 2-1, thanks to a pass from Reuben Ayarna.

Landskrona tried to fight their way back into the match and brought on both William Kvist and Rasmus Alm, but GAIS held firm.
