Hammarby dominated from the start in the match against Syrianska FC at Tele2 Arena. After half an hour, Syrianska received their first warning after a hard tackle by Success Chimankpa Nwosu. Shortly thereafter, the first goal came, with Pablo Piñones-Arce heading the ball in after a pass from Nahir Besara. Just a few minutes later, Lars Mendonca Fuhre extended the lead with the help of a pass from Kennedy Bakircioglu.
In the second half, Syrianska tried to get back into the match by substituting Durim Berisha for Sharbel Touma. However, it didn’t take long before Touma received a warning, and Erik Israelsson scored Hammarby's third goal after a nice assist.
Hammarby continued to dominate and made further substitutions, with Linus Hallenius and Fredrik Torsteinbö entering the field. Kennedy Bakircioglu scored after a pass from Stefan Batan, before Hallenius netted his first goal for Hammarby with the help of Torsteinbö. In the final minute of the match, Lars Mendonca Fuhre scored his second goal of the evening, sealing the final score at a staggering 6-0.
Referee Antti Kanerva kept a good line and the match was played in a sporting manner by both teams in front of approximately 20,000 spectators at Tele2 Arena. Hammarby now takes a significant step closer to the Superettan title, while Syrianska FC will have to put this match behind them and look forward to their next game.
