It was a Sunday afternoon at Ängelholm IP, and 623 spectators had gathered to watch yet another thrilling Superettan match between Ängelholms FF and Assyriska FF. Referee Kaspar Sjöberg kicked off the match, and both teams showed early on that they were ready for a tough battle.

However, it was Assyriska FF who took control, and in the 13th minute they made their first substitution as Georg Makdesie came on for Christopher Brandeborn. It didn't take long before they took the lead through Mattias Genc, who scored from a free kick.

Ängelholms FF tried to get back into the match, but it was instead Assyriska FF who extended their lead in the 29th minute with a goal from Aziz Corr Nyang. They managed to hold onto their 2-0 lead until halftime, despite several warnings from the referee for both teams.

In the second half, Ängelholms FF attempted to turn the match around by making a couple of substitutions, but Assyriska FF held their ground and even made further substitutions to secure the victory.

When the referee blew the final whistle, it was clear that Assyriska FF had come out on top, winning 2-0 against Ängelholms FF away from home. It was an important victory for Assyriska FF, who took three points home with them.
