Over 3000 eager spectators gathered at Gamla Ullevi to witness the match between GAIS and Östersunds FK in Superettan. Referee Patrik Eriksson blew the whistle to start the match at 18:45, and both teams seemed determined to show what they were made of.

The match was even and exciting from the start, with several close chances for both sides. After 25 minutes, Östersunds FK's Kujtim Bala received a yellow card for a hard tackle.

GAIS responded quickly with a dangerous chance that was unfortunately missed, and just a few minutes later, the team was penalized with a yellow card after Malkolm Moenza fouled an opposing player.

In the second half, both teams continued to fight hard, but it would take until the 83rd minute before the deadlock was broken. Östersunds FK's Douglas Bergqvist stepped up to score to make it 0-1, assisted by Kujtim Bala.

However, GAIS did not give up and continued to seek an equalizer. With only a few minutes left on the clock, Bryan Johansson was substituted for David Björkeryd in a last-ditch effort to secure a point. It wasn't until injury time that GAIS managed to score, with Malkolm Moenza becoming the hero as he headed in the equalizer from a pass by Petrit Zhubi.

Despite a few more dangerous chances for both teams, the match ended 1-1, and the crowd at Gamla Ullevi showed their appreciation by applauding both teams after a well-played match.
