Mjällby AIF substituted Lumala Abdu and Marcus Ekenberg, and replacements Joel Wedenell and Benjamin Annan Fadi could not really get a grip on the match. Instead, Ängelholms FF took the lead in the 73rd minute when Rebin Asaad scored his second goal of the night.

The rest of the match was characterized by warnings, with two for Ängelholms FF and one for Mjällby AIF. There was also a change for the away team when Christian Ljungberg was substituted for Rebin Asaad in the 90th minute.
