Östersunds FK took control of the match from the start, and it only took three minutes before Viktor Löfgren from IK Frej Täby received a yellow card. Seven minutes into the match, Alex Dyer scored the first goal for Östersunds FK with a header after an assist from Jamie Ryan Hopcutt.

IK Frej Täby fought to get back into the match, but Östersunds FK was too strong. Just before halftime, Alex Dyer scored his second goal of the day with an assist from Michael Junior Omoh.

After the break, both teams displayed a higher tempo, but it was Östersunds FK that controlled the game. In the 75th minute, Jamie Ryan Hopcutt made a nice pass to Fouad Bachirou, who assisted Östersunds FK's third goal of the day, this time scored by Hopcutt himself.
