A Dominant Performance

Varbergs BoIS FC showcased a commanding performance against IK Frej Täby at Påskbergsvallen in Saturday night's match in Superettan. Already in the eleventh minute, the home team took the lead through Thomas Boakye, assisted by Nsima Peter. Peter then scored himself in the 26th minute, following a fine free kick from Mats Andre Kaland. Varberg continued to press and it didn't take long before Peter was on the scoresheet again with his second goal of the day in the 62nd minute, making it 3-0 for the home side.

Frej struggled to create any real danger going forward, and in the 74th minute, Nsima Peter completed his hat-trick, scoring his third goal of the match, assisted by Pär Asp. Just two minutes later, Thomas Boakye scored his second goal of the evening after a lovely pass from Elias Andersson, meaning Varberg led 5-0.

Frej attempted to bring in substitutes to get back into the match, but only outfield players needed to be replaced. Varberg also took the opportunity to rotate in new players and rest some of those who contributed to the resounding victory. The match ended 5-0 in favor of Varberg, allowing them to maintain their fifth place in the standings, while Frej fell further behind and remained in tenth place.
